I am currently a Master of Science student in Architecture at Penn State University, specializing in the examination of the tradeoff between embodied and operational carbon emissions within educational buildings. As an active member of the RE2Lab research unit within Penn State's Department of Architecture, I am deeply engaged in investigating energy usage and the environmental impacts of constructed environments under the guidance of Dr. Rahman Azari. Furthermore, I have the privilege of interning at Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF), where I am actively involved in the Environmental Performance (KPFep) team. In this role, I focus on developing design modeling tools and integrating sustainable practices into building design workflows, with a particular emphasis on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). My current focus is on exploring the intersection of carbon emission and high-performance architecture, specifically through applying LCA) methodologies.
