PhD Student | Sustainability, Computational Design & Generative Design

I am a PhD student in the Department of Architecture at Penn State University, working as part of the SCDC Lab. Within the lab, I contribute to the Material Matter group, focusing on advancing sustainability through innovative approaches to computational design, material studies, and generative design methodologies. My research explores embodied carbon (EC), extended reality (XR), and cognitive design, integrating cutting-edge tools and technologies to enhance sustainable architectural practices.

Previously, I completed my Master of Science in Architecture at Penn State, where my thesis was titled "Developing a Tool to Explore the Influence of Column Grid Parameters on Building Volume and Carbon Emissions in a Two-Way Concrete Slab Structural System." This work focused on creating tools to assess the environmental and structural impacts of early-stage design decisions, promoting sustainable and efficient design practices.
